ReikiAsana™ is an empowered healing program Shanti designed combining yoga and Reiki. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means “universal life energy” in Japanese.  It is a form of therapy that uses simple hands-on, no-touch, and visualization techniques, with the goal of improving the flow of life energy in a person.  Combining the postures of yoga with Reiki is a somatic practice in which the practitioner is empowered to ignite their innate healing life force energy. This wisdom and awareness is infused into a specific protocol of sequenced yoga postures stimulating healing, balance and renewed energy to the physical, emotional and subtle bodies.

Third Eye Chakra - Ajna – element of light, color is indigo, qualities are non-duality, immortality, intuition, vision.  This chakra is located just above the brow.

Meditation: Sit in a comfortable position placing your awareness just above your brow at the center of your forehead.  Relax and soften the skin on your face as you invite you breath to flow in and out with ease.  As you inhale repeat silently to yourself, “I am that” as you exhale repeat, “That I am”.  Begin with a few minutes and build to 30 minutes of this meditation.
