The Body Current Rhythmic Breathing practice is my go to practice to use the breath as a bridge between the body and the brain to self-direct our very own nervous system. In this 5 minute practice, we will be using our breath as a tool to tune into the patterns and pathways of our nervous system through self-regulating our 10th cranial nerve, the vagus nerve. The breath is one of the emergent portals into this nerve, the master regulator of our autonomic nervous system. No prior experience is necessary. There are no contraindications. This powerful practice can be used anywhere at anytime for as little as 30 seconds to 5 minutes or more. This practice is both energizing and relaxing.
