Shanti Medina, CYT CPT is the founder of Energize training systems and Body Current® therapeutics. She enjoys supporting elite athletes and everyday warriors to live a life of wellbeing, optimized performance and wild inspiration through simple practices, tools and templates of embodied self-realization.
Shanti considers herself a revealer rather than a healer. She supports her clients and students in applying tools of self-directed attention through the body, brain and breath to experience whole-being awareness and initiate self-healing.
She utilizes much of her intuitive skills to access root issues in the tissues and pin point life patterns leading to misalignment. Her combined certifications in yoga therapy and brain training meditations, along with her powerful Body Current templates, support clients from around the globe in transforming their lives while healing themselves breath by breath.
What is the Body Current experience?
The Body Current modality offers mindful body-centered templates to regulate and reprogram the nervous system. By applying the simple embodied tools, practitioners create conscious patterns in their nervous system and build new neural pathways of wellness through their body, brain and breath.
The Body Current templates and tools utilize our innate intelligence to stimulate the vagus nerve and entrain the brain for self-realization, transformation and healing. Shanti teaches her Body Current® curriculum as a bridge between modern-day neuroscience and ancient yoga therapy wisdom. She has enjoyed being part of a variety of 500HR Yoga Teacher Trainings and as faculty at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
Much of Shanti’s inherent wisdom in regulating the nervous system was imprinted as a young child living through her own trauma. Her own healing journey and life-long certifications have inspired the root of her unique approach in supporting her clients and students to uncover and discover their innate pathways to wellbeing and healing.
