What sisters are saying about their retreat experience:
“The flow of this retreat was exquisite. Everything aligned so perfectly with what I needed. Moving thru the elemental experiences with movement, song and meditation touched my heart so deeply. It was healing for my heart, mind and soul.” – A’ra
“This was my first year joining you at the gathering for women. To be honest, I was hesitant at first because I had not attended a twelve hour event with women before. I found myself with more and more energy as the day went on and wishing it wasn’t ending after the full day! This was a life changing experience and the food was delicious. Thank you again and again! I will be sure to see you next year!” – Nancy
“Year after year I look forward to gathering with you and the women in the circle. Each year I have insights and aha moments that have changed my life. I’ve also made some amazing friends through the Stirring the Shakti gathering.” – Jeanie
“In my 35 yers of co-creating, facilitating, supporting, managing, developing, etc. etc., many wonderous and powerful seminars, what you created yesterday is the creme de la creme. Because of you and your team, I got kissed by the Divine yesterday. Thank you beautiful Sage for who you are. I am an official groupie of yours. ;-)” – JodySIGN ME UP

Location: StarHouse is a magical and healing temple designed and built with the principles of Sacred Geometry at its core. Constructed in 1990, it is a 12-sided structure surrounded by 105 acres of open space, rolling hills and pine forest.
Aligned with the geometry of the Flower of Life and integrated with the map of the 7 chakra system, StarHouse resonates with this high vibrational energy, physically and spiritually. There are many sacred sites and treasures on the land including a walking labyrinth, standing stones, Mary’s Well, the Goddess Grove and much more.
“The property and Starhouse were so beautiful. I was so drawn to the boulders that circle the house as I watched other women be drawn to them also. Please tell the owners thank you for allowing us on such a sacred site. I am pleased to see how many women were there for personal needs and giving community support. Good job siStar!!!” – AngieJOIN HERE
“The Stirring the Shakti retreat transformed me in so many ways. The most profound for me was leaning into a circle of women. I made so many friends and felt so seen. Thank you Shanti.”
“I learned so much about myself while gaining experience on how I can apply simple practices in my life to continue my journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Shanti has been gathering women together in sacred circles of celebration for over 20 years. Her sacred Salt Ceremonies and Stirring the Shakti retreats inspire women to transform the mundane into magic, celebrate the simply sacred, empower true nature, and fuel the fire of purpose and passion.
She founded her Body Current® modality as a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience. Much of Shanti’s inherent wisdom in regulating the nervous system and connecting her helping and healing Spirit Guides was imprinted as a young child living through her own trauma. Her own healing has inspired the root of her unique approach in coaching women’s wellness and wholeness as well as training elite athletes and top business professionals.
She enjoys sharing her intuitive SpiritDivination readings and connecting others to their Spirit Guides while receiving answers to questions and insights to life transitions. She weaves her Yoga Therapy and advanced trainings in Medical Zang Fu Gong Qigong, Wuji Hunan Qigong, Brain Training and Shamanic Journeying with her Body Current vagal nerve stimulation protocols and self-realization practices to ignite the primordial wisdom for healing and transformation. She has facilitated her Body Current curriculum in a variety of 500HR Yoga Teacher Trainings and as faculty at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as well as the Neurosculpting Institute’s and StarHouse Sacred Arts’ certification program. Nancy’s passion is helping women. She has created a fusion of the principles of The Feldenkrais Method of Movement Education, Bones For Life, and The Sounder Sleep System to assist, inspire and empower women on their path of personal growth, bringing more joy, meaning and well-being into their lives. She uses intention and attention, along with movement to explore and discover what habits you have that are keeping you from being your best, and find options that are easier, more comfortable, efficient and pleasurable- not only habits of movement that cause pain, but also habits of thought and behavior, that aren’t necessarily serving you anymore.
Nancy will be teaching a Feldenkrais-based movement lesson that will help you let go of pain, tension, stress – and deal with issues that are physical, emotional and metaphorical. By doing gentle, mindful guided movement variations, you’ll learn to move better, think better and feel better. Great for the body and the brain!
